When I tell people I am a producer, they get excited because it sounds glamorous. If only they knew the business of producing stories and managing productions is so much more than the polish at the end.  I love the thrill of the hunt, of bringing together all the moving parts that eventually become a whole production.  As a producer it’s my role to harness resources, anticipate needs, problem-solve, and deliver on time and on budget.

Technology is powerful. Stories are meaningful. Smash them together and you’ve got endless possibilities. When I teach, I look to the future and explore new avenues in storytelling techniques.  Be it in a traditional college setting, seminar, or online workshop, my classroom is a lab where discovery happens for those brave enough to peek at the future with me. Stories are not limited by technology, neither should my students.
